One of the great things about the Wine Bloggers Conference is the opportunity to experience the surrounding wine regions through the pre-conference and post-conference excursions. This year in Washington, we have wonderful opportunities available: explore the Yakima Valley and the town of Yakima itself, delve into the Red Mountain AVA near Richmond, experience the Walla Walla Valley through a local winery and visit wineries near the Columbia Gorge. These excursions allow the visitor to immerse themselves in the Washington wine scene, learning about terroir, local viticulture and the history of the area.
Our Thursday evening excursions include dinner and event options at local wineries, allowing you to join your fellow attendees for an evening of wine, food and entertainment. These unique experiences are a great way to network and enjoy your evening after an afternoon of Wine Education Sessions.
These excursions are not possible without support from the local wine industry. We appreciate the effort our partners have put into making these experiences unique and worthwhile, all while promoting the wonderful things happening in the Washington Wine culture.
Due to limited space, pre-conference and post-conference excursions are only open to registered citizen bloggers, published writers, and their family members or significant others who are also registered for the conference. Winery staff, association employees, and wine marketing/communications professionals are not eligible. Thursday evening excursions are open to all attendees.
