The Wine Bloggers Conference will take place in Australia in 2019. The exact date and host city are to be determined.
Historically, we have announced the new date and location of the WBC live at the current year’s event – always to big cheers. This year, however, we have decided to make a change. Australia is a long way for our core North American audience and we wanted to give as much advanced notice as possible, even without a confirmed date.
We can provide a few details now:
- The conference will be a typical Wine Bloggers Conference, of interest to wine bloggers, wine writers, and other wine marketing and communications folks.
- We are partnering with the Wine Communicators of Australia to make this happen.
- The event will very likely be in the month of October or November and take place in or near major wine regions.
- We will be adding longer overnight pre-conference and post-conference excursions so those of you traveling long distances can make a full vacation with your trip.
- We will be orienting the conference not just to North American and Australian/New Zealand attendees but also to folks in Europe, Asia, South Africa, and other wine regions.
We are excited to bring the Wine Bloggers Conference for the first time to a country outside North America! To stay updated, please add your email address to the Stay Updated box on the right. In the meantime, please register now for this year’s event in Walla Walla, Washington.
Sounds like there are going to be a bunch wine folk in the Hunter Valley on the 10 – 12 October 2019. Bring on the write up of the area and its wine. you will want to be spending a little more time than the two day of the conference. There are so many wines, cheese, food, restraints than two nights. Only a 5 – 10min drive from the location of the event!
Very Exciting! And I just blogged about it: https://winepredator.com/2018/05/11/heading-to-aus-what-will-you-put-on-the-barbie-for-winepw/
Excellent news!!! It’s the ONLY reason for visiting Australia! 🙂 (unless the All Blacks are playing the Wallabies…)
Yippeeeeeee!
Bravo, it’s about time!
Sounds exciting, but maybe bring it back to the east coast in 2020?
