Thought it was too late to join us at this year’s Wine Bloggers Conference? Think again!
On Facebook yesterday, a blogger let everyone know that there were $200 tickets from Alaska Air from Los Angeles to Kelowna (one way). That’s a great deal, so we decided to do some digging.
Via Alaska Air and Orbitz, there appears to be some good fares available from both LAX and SFO. From $417 round trip, you could be whisked away next weekend to join over 230 of us up in British Columbia for engaging content, epic wines and hospitality, and beautiful vistas. Even from points further east (Chicago), prices on flights aren’t too bad.
The host hotel, Penticton Lakeside Resort, is sold out on the 6th, but has availability for WBC goers on the 4th, 5th, and 7th. If you want to stay in one place throughout the weekend, other local hotels are offering great rates for bloggers. The Sandman and Tiki Shores are two.
And if you really wanted to live a little, there are several bloggers already coming to WBC who may have rooms they’d like to share in order to split costs.
So as long as you have a passport, a sort of last minute kind of sense of adventure, and want to join in on what will be an awesome 2013 Wine Bloggers Conference, go check out the agenda page, register, and book your flights!
I am one of those looking for a roomie! I’ve got a room with 2 queens for Th, Fri, and Sat–let me know if you need a room for one or more days!
