Get ready for a sneak preview of entwine, the new wine portfolio stemming from the shared passion of Food Network and Wente Vineyards. We are thrilled to have Susan Stockton from Food Network Kitchens and Amy Hoopes from Wente Vineyards hosting Ignite Wine!, the Sunday morning session designed to integrate bloggers, technology, and wine.
Susan and Amy will kick off the Ignite Wine! session by giving a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of this new wine. Attendees will learn all the juicy details from the birth of the entwine concept to the finished product. Everyone will get an advance taste of all four entwine varietals, which are not yet available to consumers.
The Ignite Wine! session itself is new to the Wine Bloggers Conference in 2011. Eight different presenters will each have five minutes to present a topic of their choice. The trick is that each presenter will time their presentation to 20 slides, rotated automatically every 15 seconds. 20 slides at 15 seconds = 300 seconds or five minutes. It makes the presentations fast and fun.
To sign up to be one of the participants in the Ignite Wine! forum, email info@winebloggersconference.org or leave a comment on this post with your suggested topic. We will review the submissions and possibly put potential topics to a vote of wine bloggers. It’s a great opportunity to share your personal wine passion with the crowd. Topics can be anything you want – just interesting enough to get selected!
We are looking forward to combining entwine and Ignite in a memorable Sunday morning.
Have you on the list, Jason! We’ll be in touch.
