The 2010 Wine Bloggers Conference is pleased to announce Lettie Teague, Wine Journalist, Auther, Columnist and Wine Blogger as Saturday’s Keynote Speaker.
Wine columnist and staff writer for The Wall Street Journal, Food Writer and Wine Blogger, Lettie joined The Wall Street Journal in 2010, after 12 years as the wine editor and columnist at Food & Wine magazine. Her popular monthly column, “Wine Matters”, won the 2003 James Beard MFK Fisher Distinguished Writing Award and the 2005 James Beard Award for Magazine Columns.
She is the author of “Educating Peter” an introduction to wine (Scribner’s) and the co-author of Fear of Wine (Bantam). Her work can also be found in the 2009 Best of Food Writing Guide (DaCapo).
Ms. Teague splits her time between New York City and the North Fork of Long Island aka “Wine Country.” She loves most wines of the world except Pinotage. She has never had a good Pinotage.
Lettie will share her thoughts and ideas regarding a bloggers need to find a voice in their writing and a real niche on the World Wide Web. She will discuss her own experiences as a magazine and newspaper columnist and as a blogger, helping bloggers identify what not only inspires them but also their audience.
Bloggers will have an opportunity to share a discussion and Q&A concerning A Bloggers Voice with Ms. Teague on Sunday morning during Breakfast with Lettie.
