Sonoma Wine Country offers a plethora of fun things to do, sites to see, foods to eat, and wines to enjoy. Sonoma Vineyard Walks offer one such experience and are a great way to explore scenic and private vineyards with knowledgeable guides, enjoy a nice lunch, and take in a few nice wines in the process. Spouses or travel companions of those attending the Wine Bloggers Conference are welcome to join us in the vines at $30 off the standard one-day walk rate on any day. To do so, they should register for the walks by visiting Sonoma Vineyard Walks and should note that they have a friend or spouse attending the Wine Bloggers Conference. We’ll take care of the rest. Minimum group size for guided walks is two. We’ll do our best to find one or more to join those who sign up for the walks on their own. These walks will be separate from the Wine Bloggers Conference and are not a part of the conference’s scheduled walks on Sunday.
Registered conference participants have the option of enjoying a Sonoma Vineyard Walk on Sunday, July 26th as a part of the conference. These walks include an organized lunch and tastings from The Winegrowers of Dry Creek Valley. Unfortunately we do not have space for spouses or travel companions to join us on this day. If you are registered for the conference and are arriving early or staying a few days after the conference, you are welcome to join us for a different walk than the walk you may experience as a part of the conference and also at the reduced rate.
Hi all- tried to post this earlier and it didn't go through…
The Sonoma County Tourism Bureau is elated that you all are coming, and we would love it if your spouse, significant other or traveling companion joined you. If you companion isn't interested in the activities above (and they should be- the vineyard walk is great!) then we would be happy to suggest some. You can tweet us a @insidesonoma, or email us at sonoma@inside-sonoma.com, or if you somehow can find a telephone, call us at 1800-576-6662. Ask our guy Craig what to do- he knows everything!
Feel free to poke around our main web site at http://www.sonomacounty.com (linked above) or blog at http://www.inside-sonoma.com for other ideas.
Great to have you all back here! See you soon-
Tim
